To set the Pocket Phone to select the
strongest base station signal
Once you have registered your
Pocket Phone to additional base
stations, you can also set it to log on to
the strongest base station signal
automatically.
• Press the
MENU button.
• Press the
DOWN button to highlight
SELECT BASE
• Press the
OK button.
• Press the
DOWN button to highlight
BEST BASE
• Press the
OK button.
To set the Pocket Phone to search for
a specific base signal
If you are using your handset in an
area where the base signals overlap,
we recommend that you specify one
base station as the priority signal that
your handset should search for.
If you give it a Priority Select setting,
your handset will search for a specified
base station for 30 seconds before
looking for any other base station it has
been registered with.
Alternatively, you can set it to log on to
only one specific base station - this is
Fixed Selection.
• Press the
MENU button.
• Press the
DOWN button to highlight
SELECT BASE
• Press the
OK button.
• Press the
DOWN button to highlight
the base station you want.
