Store a name and number
1. Press to enter the menu, then until the display
shows
PHONEBK and press .
2.
ADD is displayed, press .
3.
NAME? is displayed. Enter the name you want using the
keypad, then press to confirm.
4.
NUMBER? is displayed. Enter the telephone number for
the name then press to confirm.
5. Press to continue storing names and numbers
in the phonebook, or press and hold to return to
standby.
Enter a pause in a number
You may want to enter a pause when storing
international numbers, charge card numbers or if you
are connected to a switchboard. (For more information
on switchboard use, see page 65.)

Using the phone
Entering names:
Use the keypad letters to enter
names, e.g. to store the name
TOM:
Press once for T.
Press three times for O.
Wait for the cursor to move across.
Press once for M.
Press to delete an incorrect
digit.
Press once to insert a space,
twice for a - (hyphen), or three
times for the number 1.
