8.2 Installation of water connections
8.2.1 Installing B-Kit:
The relief valve and the pressure/temperature gauge are
mounted on the conversion nipple (included in B-Kit) on
the VK boiler supply connection as follows:
z Measure length of thread on R1¼" × 1¼" NPT
double nipple.
z Seal supply manifold to connection VK with the long
side to the boiler.
z Seal conversion nipple on boiler inlet VK.
z Seal pressure/temperature gauge to conversion
nipple.
8.2.2 Installation of boiler drain (included in B-Kit)
z Install the boiler fill and drain valve with seal to
connector EL.
z Seal boiler drain to connection EL.

NOTICE
Do not install the pressure relief valve until
after the leak test (Î Chapter 8.3,
page 36).
The pressure relief valve must be installed
in a vertical position.
