10.2 Fault table
Please notify your installer if a fault occurs that is not listed in the
table, or if you cannot rectify the fault yourself.
Code Display Cause Remedy
No display Your heating system has been
switched OFF.
Switch ON the heating system.
The power supply from the heating
system has been cut off.
Check whether the RC30 sits
correctly in its wall mounting base.
Check whether two leads are
connected to the RC30 wall
mounting base.
"MAKING
CONNECTION
EMS"
When the controller is switched on,
data is exchanged between the EMS
and the RC30 (no fault).
Wait a few seconds.
A01/816 "CONNECTION
INTERRUPTED
EMS
Communication to the Energy
Management System (EMS) is faulty,
e.g. through a loose contact or
through electro-magnetic
interference.
Check whether the RC30 sits
correctly in its wall mounting base.
Check whether two leads are
connected to the RC30 wall
mounting base.
A11/802 "TIME NOT
SET"
The date or time is not set. This may
have been caused by an extended
power failure.
Enter the time or date so that all
heating programs and other
functions can operate.
A11/803 "DATE NOT
SET"
Hxx "OPEN FLAP" Maintenance is required.
The heating system remains active as
long as possible.
Open the flap to display the code.
Notify your installer who should
carry out the maintenance.
H 7 "MAINTENANCE
SYSTEM
PRESSURE"
The water pressure in the heating
system has dropped to a low value.
This is the only maintenance
message which you can action
yourself. The heating system must be
equipped with a digital pressure
sensor. Regularly check the heating
system water pressure at the
pressure gauge, if this is not installed.
Top up the heating water as
described in the boiler operating
instructions.
xxx/xxx "OPEN FLAP
FAULT"
There is a fault on the heating system. Open the flap to display the code.
Inform your installer and give him
the code.
