The TeraStation was started from the
USB initialization device, but the settings
cannot be initialized from this USB
initialization device.

Initialization from the USB initialization
device was initiated, but drive 1 was not
detected.
Make sure that drive 1 is present and fully
inserted in its slot.
I45 Initialization failed. -

Data migration or conversion (RAID
migration) is in progress.
Do not turn off the TeraStations power.

This TeraStation is ready to become the
failover backup for the main TeraStation.
Press and hold the function button on the
front of the target TeraStation until it stops
beeping to accept failover backup status.

The main TeraStation in the failover
configuration cannot be found.
Make sure that the main TeraStation is on,
working, and connected to the network.
I50 Failover maintenance is in progress. Do not turn off the TeraStations power.
I51 Initializing the failover configuration. Do not turn off the TeraStations power.
I52 A new firmware version has been released. Update the firmware.
I54 The backup job failed.
Make sure that the backup job is
configured correctly, and that the NAS
is on and not in standby mode. If the
backup job still fails, check the status of
NAS, network, and backup source and
destinations.
If you configured the subfolders’ access
restrictions to be inherited to the backup
destination, disable them or change the
destination.
I55
Authentication during initialization of
settings failed.
Settings can only be restored for the
TeraStation whose settings were originally
saved.
I59 Boot authentication failed.
Open Settings, take note of the displayed
decryption key and forward the key to the
authentication server administrator.
I61 The unit is in drive setup mode.
Recover from drive setup mode by
following the procedure at the “Power LED
Keeps Blinking” section.
I70
There is not enough space to save file
access logs.
Delete unnecessary logs or move them to
another place.
I71
The space is occupied so older logs were
removed.
Delete unnecessary logs or move them to
another place.
