Box Scraper WARRANTY POLICY Buhler Manufacturing products are warranted for a period of twelve (12) months (90 days for commercial application) from original date of purchase, by original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under correct, normal agricultural use and proper applications.
Box Scraper INTRODUCTION The Buhler Farm King Box Scraper features two ½” x 6” replaceable, back-to-back blades to make this a bi-directional scraper. The scarifier shanks are heat treated and are easily adjusted for depth. The Box Scraper is available in 5’, 6’ & 7’ models. This product is Quick Hitch compatible. Keep this manual handy for frequent reference. All new operators or owners must review the manual before using the equipment at least annually thereafter.

Box Scraper GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Have a first-aid kit available for use and know how to use it. Have a fire extinguisher available, stored in a highly visible location, and know how to use it. Wear appropriate protective gear.
Box Scraper SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE SAFETY Stop engine, set brake, remove ignition key, and wait for all moving parts to stop before servicing, adjusting, repairing, or unplugging. Support the equipment with blocks or safety stands before working beneath it. Follow good shop practices including: - keep service area clean and dry - be sure electrical outlets and tools are properly grounded - use adequate light for the job Use only tools, jacks, and hoists of sufficient capacity for the job.
Box Scraper ASSEMBLY 1. Bolt the hitch (#2) and hitch braces (#3) to the frame (#1) using hardware supplied. 2. Use the position or draft mode on the three-point control to make a cut at constant depth. Use float when you want the scraper to follow the contour of the ground. The weight of the scraper itself will keep the blade at the desired depth. 3. Use the scarifier shanks to break up hard or packed surfaces. If it is necessary to add weight to the blade, use a maximum of 200 lbs. 4.
Box Scraper MAINTENANCE 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Raise the Box Scraper off the ground. Securely block up the frame. Remove blade mounting bolts. If the top side of the blade has not been used, reverse and reattach. If it has been used, replace blade. Install mounting bolts and re-tighten.
