IMPORTANT NOTICE HERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOUR NEW VISUAL LIQUID STRAINER The VLS will stop sand and grit over 170 microns from getting in your critical valves and pump parts, etc. If the clear sleeve of the VLS gets dirty, and you can’t see the screen, take the VLS apart and clean well. You want to be able to see the screen. If you find that you have to empty the VLS quite often, you may want to put 2 units in parallel.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS DISASSEMBLY 1 STEP 1 Remove T-nut completely. If the VLS has not been cleaned for some time, it may be necessary to use a wrench. STEP 2 Twist the bottom cap back and forth to loosen. STEP 3 Remove bottom cap, sleeve and screen - straight down, - if possible, to avoid damage to screen. Then clean thoroughly. Make sure O-rings and gooves are cleaned and that O-rings are undamaged.
