IVA – Virtual Tripwire
With the aid of Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA), events can be
specically detected and directed movements can be used for
triggering events.
When installing the camera, make sure that it is hanging sufciently
high in order to survey a large portion of the scene.
1) For creating a virtual tripwire, click on the green + sign on the
right in the rules list.
2) Click on the “Plot” button with a left mouse click to enter a line
in the displayed image. Each left click places a mark of the line. A
right click ends the plotting.
Use the “Delete” button to remove the lines.
3) With the direction detection, establish for which movement
direction an object is supposed to trigger an event or whether an
event is supposed to be triggered for both directions.
4) Now specify the action which is supposed to be triggered with
an alarm.
5) Finally, click on “Save”.
Note:
Keep in mind that you are looking at the scene perspectively. It may
be necessary to draw the line beyond the path. Test the settings
with a second person before closing the equipment.
