3. In the input window, enter the name to be searched for. This
is not case sensitive.
Each time a character is entered into the input window, a complete
name from the telephone book will be automatically suggested,
relating to the character sequence that has been entered.
If no names are suggested, there is no telephone book entry
matching the sequence of characters that have been entered.
Delete some characters in the input line until a name is suggested.
Press the white telephone function button to dial the first
telephone number in the telephone book entry for the name
displayed.
Press the function button to open the Identical entries
menu, which displays the search results that are still available.
Press the function button to return to the input window.
Further information can be displayed in the Identical entries
menu.
Pressing the All entries function button switches back to the
complete telephone book view.
Displaying and editing a telephone number
A telephone number stored in the telephone book or call list can
be edited before dialling. To display and edit a telephone number,
proceed as follows:
1. Press the function button next to a displayed telephone
number or name.
2. Press the function button to open an input window.
3. Press the or arrow buttons to move the cursor in the
input line.
4. Press the desired digits to enter them in the input line, or press
the function button to delete digits in the input line.
5. Press the white telephone function button to dial the displayed
telephone number.
Pressing the function button closes the menu without storing
any changes.
The entries in the telephone book of the mobile telephone cannot
be changed permanently via the vehicle’s mobile telephone system.
Any changes made to the telephone book via the mobile telephone
system will only be used when the call is made via the vehicle.
After the telephone number has been dialled, it will be available
in the call list of numbers dialled from the car.
Playing a DTMF tone sequence
Press the DTMF function button to play the series of characters
displayed in the input line as a DTMF tone sequence.
Please note that the + character interrupts the playing of a DTMF
tone sequence.
