Information
In the d menu you will find various general
information such as the current audio source, the
date and time, and the signal strength for your
telephone network.
You also have the option to call up more detailed
information about the traffic situation, your current
location, the individual sections in your route, or
the current audio source.
Displaying traffic messages
(XM NavTraffic)
XM Satellite Radio broadcast traffic messages as
a part of their program. The PCM evaluates and
displays this information.
The navigation system takes these traffic
messages into consideration during dynamic
route calculation.
 XM Satellite Radio request payment of an
additional fee to enable this service.
XM Satellite Radio is responsible for the
quality of the traffic messages. For that
reason, no liability can be accepted for the
completeness and correctness of the
information.
You can display the current traffic messages in a
list. The following types of traffic messages are
differentiated:
Incidents
Objects on the road
Objects on a section of the current,
personal route
Accident
Accident on a section of the current,
personal route
Construction
Construction on a section of the
current, personal route
Slow moving traffic
Slow moving traffic on a section of
the current, personal route
