BR05DAB What is DAB+ DAB was developed in Europe by a consortium of broadcasters and manufacturers DAB uses digital compression techniques to transform the source material, i.e. music and speech, into better quality audio. Interference free reception Analogue systems suffer from an effect called “multipath distortion”. BR05DAB OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS DAB+ OPERATION Listening to the DAB+ Radio 1. Press the Mode to enter DAB+ mode. 2. You will need to conduct a full station scan to ensure all available stations are listed in the DAB+ station list for you to choose from and play. 3. When the scan is complete, the DAB+ Radio will then play the first available station/last played station. Stations are listed in numerical and then alphabetic order. The station list is stored in the memory.

Press the < and > Buttons until "Manual Tune" is displayed. 3. Press the SELECT Button to confirm. 4. Using the < and > Buttons to scroll through your desired frequency. Press the SELECT Button to confirm and play.

DLS (Dynamic Label Segment) - This is the scrolling message that the broadcaster may include with their transmissions. This message usually includes information, such as program detail, song title etc. 2. Signal Strength - This shows the signal transmission level. 3. Program Type - This is the type and description of the program provided by the DAB+ station.

BR05DAB OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SYSTEM SETTING The System Setting sub-menu allows you to set the radio features you desire. 1. Press the MENU Button to access the Main Menu. 2. Press the < and > Buttons until "System Setting" is displayed. 3. Push the SELECT Button to confirm. The following options will be displayed: Sleep, Alarm, Time, Backlight, Factory Reset and Software (SW) are available. Sleep: Press the < and > Buttons to set the Sleep Time to 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes or Sleep Off.
