Crystal Reports® and Microsoft Critical Patches Business Objects supports and recommends install of all Microsoft critical patches for the operating systems listed above.

Incremental releases of the specified versions defined by the last number in the application server name will be supported as they are made available, but may not have been tested by Business Objects. Exceptions in support will be documented.

Crystal Reports® 2008 with Service Pack 0 Supported Platforms Data Source Middleware Support Business Objects products are designed to use 32-bit data source middleware connectivity. Unless otherwise specified, 64-bit middleware connectivity is not supported. ODBC DSN Support Business Objects products use the 32-bit ODBC registry on all versions of Windows. To administer 32-bit ODBC DSNs on 64-bit versions of Windows, run the 32-bit ODBC Administrator, located here: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.

Crystal Reports® 2008 with Service Pack 0 Supported Platforms 1 – DAO technology cannot be used to access the Microsoft Office 2007 file formats: Microsoft Access 2007 .accdb, Microsoft Excel 2007 .xlsx (XML) and .xlsb (Binary). These file formats are supported via the Microsoft 2007 Office System drivers for ODBC and OLEDB. Support for SAP Application Servers BusinessObjects XI Integration for SAP Solutions must be installed in order to use an SAP application server as a data source.
