Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
The LCD displays information automatically and
continuously. It displays
• the transmission signal icon to indicate that it is
broadcasting,
• how many badges are currently in the coverage area,
• if there is an alarm,
• the severity of the alarm, and
• how many badges have acknowledged the alarm.

The base station continually broadcasts to the badges within
the designated coverage area. If a badge is no longer
detected after 10 seconds, the base station determines that
the worker is no longer in the coverage area.
The base station then decreases the numeric value by one
and displays the new value on the LCD. When a new badge
is detected, the value automatically increases.
