Checking the engine oil level
With the engine arrives at
operating temperature, turn it off
and check the oil level with a
dipstick.
1. To get a correct reading, the
vehicle should be on level ground.
After turning off the engine, wait
a few minutes for the oil to drain
back into the bottom of the
engine.
2. Pull the oil dip rod out, hold a rag
under the end, and wipe it clean.
3. Reinsert the oil dip rod, and push
it in as far as it will go, or the
reading will not be correct.
4. Pull the oil dip rod out and look
at the oil level while placing a rag
at the end.
NOTICE
Be careful not to drop the engine oil
on vehicle components.
If the oil level goes below or slightly
above the low level, fill the engine oil
of the same type into the engine.
Remove the oil filler cap and add the
engine oil in small quantities at a time,
and check the oil dip rod. We
recommend that you use a funnel
when adding oil.
To confirm the quantity of needed oil,
please take reference from the
interval between the low and high
level on the oil dip rod.
When the level reaches within the
correct range, install the filler cap and
tighten it by hand.
NOTICE
● Do not spill oil onto spare parts.
● Avoid overfilling, or the engine
could be damaged.
● Check the oil level on the
dipstick once again after adding
the oil.
