● The light does not illuminate or
become solid on when the
ignition key is turned to the
“ON” position.
● The light comes on while you are
driving.
A warning light turning on briefly
during operation does not indicate a
problem.
CAUTION
If the “ABS” warning light remains
on together with the brake system
warning light, immediately park
your vehicle at a safe place and
contact your BYD AUTO service
station.
In this case, not only the ABS will
fail but also the vehicle will become
extremely unstable during braking.
(h) Open door warning light
This light remains on until all the side
door and back door are completely
closed.
(i) SRS warning light
This light will illuminate when the
ignition key is turned to the “ON”
position. After about 5 seconds, the

system of the airbag is operating
properly.
The warning light system monitors
the SRS airbag system ECU, front
seat belt pretensioner assemblies,
inflators, warning light,
interconnecting wiring, and power
sources.
The occurrence of either of the
following condition indicates that a
malfunction somewhere in the parts is
monitored by the warning light
system. Contact your BYD AUTO
service station as soon as possible to
check the vehicle.
● The light does not illuminate or
remains on for long time when
the ignition key is turned to the
“ON” position.
● The light comes on or flashes
while driving.

This buzzer reminds you to remove
the key when you open the driver’s
door with the ignition key in the
“ACC” or “LOCK” position.
(k) Light reminder buzzer
This buzzer will sound if the position
lights in still on and the driver’s door
is opened with the key removed from
the ignition switch.
