Instructions / Assembly

THE MADERA STAND MUST BE SET UP AND USED PROPERLY
FOR YOUR SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT.
Attach one end of your hammock to a tree, post, or other
secure and strong point using rope, chain or other connection
that will provide movement as the hammock swings (not
supplied).
The legs are shipped in two parts with a unique joint that is to
be assembled as illustrated at right:
After assembly, the two legs are joined at the top with the
supplied eye bolt and nut as illustrated in the photo at left. The
legs should be spread approx. 45” at the ground level. The top
of the legs should be tipped back from the hammock at a 60
degree angle as shown in the photo at left.
The anchor pin must be fully engaged into the soil at the same
60 degree angle as the legs.
The tension rope should be placed securely over the pivot point
at the top of the legs and looped around the anchor pin at
ground level. Final angle adjustment of the Madera can be
made with the rope adjuster as shown in the photo at left.
Check the anchor pin each time you use the hammock to
ensure it remains securely in the soil.
