The content of this Smartwares Europe EC Declaration of Conformity is based on Annex III of Decision No
768/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 july 2008 on a common framework for the
marketing of products.
The EC Declaration of Conformity is only published and signed when the following rules apply:
- The product file is completely available for Smartwares Europe
- Complete product file contains the following documents:
o Certificates and reports of all applicable European legislation
o Instruction Manual
o Exploded view
o Electric scheme
o Bill of Material
o Declaration of Identity
- Certificates and test reports are only accepted when:
o These are issued by accredited test houses, in other words Notified Bodies
o These refer to the latest (harmonized) standards
o These are full and complete
o These refer to the correct Item numbers
The EC Declaration of Conformity is signed by Smartwares Europe
