BRUSHLESS ALTERNATORS

1. Determine belt size by measuring across belt.

2. Determine number of spacers to be used

between pulley faces from following chart:

3. Determine belt spacing by measuring old pulley as shown.

MEASURE FROM INSIDE SURFACE TO

CORRESPONDING INSIDE SURFACE

OR CENTERLINE TO CENTERLINE.

4. Determine the amount of spacers required for proper belt spacing from the chart on the back of this

instruction sheet using the following steps:

a. Locate number of spacers required between pulley faces due to belt size (Step 2) on the top of the chart. b. Look down column located in step A until desired belt spacing dimension is found. c. In the left hand column, opposite dimension located in step B, find the required number of spacers to be inserted between pulleys.
