◆ NOTE: As an alternative to disabling the firewall entirely, you may
configure the firewall to allow WATCHOUT and any other related functions
to pass through. Please consult your computer’s documentation for details
on how to configure the Windows firewall.
▲ IMPORTANT: A WATCHOUT sys-
tem should not be accessible from
the Internet, or other external net-
work. If you need to access the In-
ternet from your system, use a
separate firewall device to protect
your complete system from
security attacks.
The firewall feature should be turned
off. Otherwise it may interfere with
the ability to connect to and down-
load media files to the display
computers.
