Tools required: # 2 Phillips or #2 Robertson bit and power drill. Find a clean, smooth area on which to work, such as a carpet, in order to avoid scratching the plastic surfaces. Use fully assembled shipping carton as a work surface.
Step 1: Set the Seat and Back legs (A) on the shipping carton with the seat facing down. Using factory installed screw as a pivot spin the back legs out and downwards until the bottom edges are flush or parallel to the long angled cut. Put 2 screws in each leg using the counter sunk holes provided. (Ignore the peck marks in the back legs). Figure 1 Item Drawing Qty 1 2 Seat Assy. (A) Screws 1 4 Step 2: Set the Seat (A) on the shipping carton as shown.
Step 4: Stand the assembled Seat on its legs and secure the Arm (C) to the Back Leg (A) using the upper 2 holes on the Back Leg (the back edge of the arm should be flush with the edge of the Back Leg and centered on the Arm). Now place a screw into the third hole on the Back Leg (A) to fasten the small block on the back of Arm (C) to the Back Leg (A).
