C-Squared’s Hycision-10M is a hydrogen sensing module based on the thermal conductivity
principle. The sensor employs a patented (US 6,807,843) thin film technology for great
stability and high accuracy. Two thin film thermal elements are used in the sensor, one as the
reference and the other as the sensing element. Both thin film elements are passivated with
thick film glass for a long service life.
The Hycision-10 is a hand-hold unit. It comes with three options of sampling method (flow-
through, open space, and discrete) to accommodate difference application requirements. The
flow-through sampling method is standard for industrial process monitoring; the open space is
for ambient monitoring; the discrete method is capable of sealing the sample gas (<1cc) in the
unit for testing which is perfect for small sample testing, and avoiding unnecessary sample gas
bleeding.
