Problem 5: In the Device Topology view of the SwCat5505, reconfigured (swapped) boards appear in incorrect numeric order. Solution: The port information is correct.

(This affects Cisco model icons that appear in core application views if Ciscoworks is not installed).

The Ping Request Entry Table cannot display multiple protocol address formats using a single table icon. For that reason, non-IP protocols may display their respective addresses incorrectly in the table view but the device receives the address as entered in the “Add Request” window. . Solution: Additional protocols will be supported in a future release of the management module.

This does not occur, however, if you copy the EMME/EMM-E6 into the Location view from the Topology view.

Problem 5: Attempts to model a ForeSwitch as a GenSNMPDev show the model type as a ForeSystems Workstation, eventually changing to a ForeSys RT router model type.

The device is not reading the proper value (enabled or disabled) from the MIB. Solution: This is a firmware problem.

Changing the Auth Traps from disabled to enabled causes an attribute error message to appear. Solution: This is a firmware problem.

This is because the Token Ring device firmware stops mapping MAC addresses to specific ports as soon as it encounters one of the Ring In/Ring Out ports through which the hubs are connected.

Corrected Anomalies: 1 9F426-02 and 9A426-02 device Transparent Bridging Port tables show appropriate MIB-II Interface statistics. In the Chassis Device view of a 9000 device, the ports update when you change the Port Display.
Ma n ag e me n t M o du l e A no m al i e s Problem 4: When modeling a 9A6x6 as a standalone, the Chassis Device view shows CTMifPort icons. The CTMifPort icons should not appear in this view. Solution: This is a firmware problem; upgrade to 3.00.04 or a later firmware version. Problem 5: Error messages may appear when you attempt to save created entries within the Static Bridging application’s Static Bridging Table.

Twelve interface ports should appear in the views. Also, the Model Information view displays the model state value as "Error." Solution: This firmware problem will be addressed in a future release. Solution: This is a firmware problem. Problem 6: The modeled SS6500 currently does not provide a Chassis Device view, as the SS6500 does not fully support the Container MIB. Solution: This is a firmware problem. Problem 7: Modeled 6Exxx cards (with the ZX-250 SW_Link) do not provide Port Performance view statistics.

Solution: This is a firmware problem for the SS6500; the field attributes are not supported.
