Overview
Introduction
This chapter provides guidelines to follow when you experience a problem with your
access server. It also has instructions for returning your access server hardware and tells
you what to return if you have a problem with your access server software.
Contact your access server supplier for more information about the available hardware and
software service options.
Before You Contact Your Supplier
First Steps
Before you contact your access server supplier:
Verify that the software is correctly installed.
Be sure you have used the procedures described in this guide.
Determine your access servers serial number, software version (Vn.n), and software
base level (BLnn-nn).
