Network Configuration Requirements
If you are using the base-level AR System Gateway (without SANM) to
generate automatic trouble tickets in a distributed SpectroSERVER
environment, the system on which the AR System Gateway is installed
must have both SpectroGRAPH and the AR System Client tools already
installed.
If you are using the advanced-level AR System Gateway (with SANM), you
do not need to have the above configuration. One AR System Gateway can
connect to multiple SpectroSERVERs.
If you are not interested in automatic trouble ticket generation and you
want to use the AR System Gateway to manually submit trouble tickets,
you need to install only one AR System Gateway for one SpectroSERVER.
On the SpectroGRAPH containing the AR System Gateway, you can submit
trouble tickets for alarms from any landscape visible on that node’s
SpectroGRAPH.
From the alarms visible in Alarm Manager:
1. Select a landscape icon.
2. Open the Alarm Manager: Main view.
3. Submit a trouble ticket for any of the alarms visible in Alarm
Manager.
