Known Custom Collections Anomalies: SPECTRUM Web Operator
Item Description Solution
1 If SpectroSERVER containing Home User
models is reinitialized, the Custom
Collections that were created no longer
exist for the users and must be
recreated.
This issue will be corrected in a future
release of SPECTRUM Web Operator.
2 In a distributed environment, if a
SpectroSERVER database that does not
contain the Home User model is
reinitialized after a Custom Collection is
created, you see different models
displayed in your collection. The model
handles stored in the collection could
represent different models.
Purge any model collection that was on
the reinitialized SpectroSERVER; then
add them again.
3 If a user does not have a consolidated
Home User model, user-defined
searches and Custom Collections behave
inconsistently, since both are stored in
the User Model.
For information on consolidating User
Models, see the Security and User
Maintenance (2602) manual.
4 You receive the error message error on
page when you:
- Add more than 115 models to a
collection, or
- Delete more than 95 models from a
collection.
The maximum number of models that
can be successfully added to a collection
at one time is 115. The maximum
number of models that can be
successfully deleted from a collection at
one time is 95.
To resolve this issue:
- Add 115 or fewer models at a time until
the desired number of models is added
to the collection.
- Delete 95 or fewer models at a time
until the desired number of models is
deleted from the collection.
