Neighbor Type
The type of remote port that is determined in PC Signalling in R_Val (1,2).
PMD Type
The Physical Media Dependent entity type. This is the lower sublayer of the
Physical Layer.
LEM Count
The aggregate-link error monitor error count set to zero only on station power-
up.
LER Average
A long term average link error rate reported as the absolute value of the
exponent of the estimate.
The Configuration Table wraps around under the heading Configuration
Table (Continued). The fields are described below:
Slot
The FDDI port slot ID.
Port
The FDDI port ID.
Insert PS
A value that indicates the desired association(s) of the port with a station
path. The primary path is the default. The value of the secondary is only
meaningful for S(slave) or M(master) port PC-types.
Link State
An indication of the link state of this port.
Link Test Status
An indication of the connect state of this port.
Connect State
An indication of the connect state of this port. This gives a higher level view of
the state of the connection by grouping PCM states and the PC-Withold
condition.
Port State
An indication of the FDDI port state.
FDDI Card Performance View
The Card Performance selection in the FDDI Application Icon Subviews menu
provides access to the FDDI Card Configuration View. Select Card
Performance under the FDDI Icon Subviews menu to open the FDDI Card
Performance View, or you can open the Views menu and select Card
Performance from the Icon Subviews menu. The Card Performance View
contains the following fields:
