Basic Ether Application
The Basic Ether Application supports the following additional sub-application
views :
Access/One Hub Cluster Configuration View
Ethernet Basic Port
Ethernet Extended Port
These views are described in the following sections:
Access/One Hub Cluster Configuration View
The Hub group contains each card in a hub cluster and includes all cards in an
Access/One enclosure that constitutes a single repeater. Any Ethernet
concentrator may belong to a hub cluster. When a card is added to an Ethernet
bus hub cluster it retains its Group (card) management data, but resets its
Hub management data.
You can open the Access/One Hub Cluster Concentration View by selecting
Cluster Config from the Basic Ether Icon Subviews menu, or by selecting the
Basic Ether icon, opening the View menu, and selecting Cluster Config from
the Icon Subviews menu. The view and its fields are described below:
Slot
The cards relative position in the enclosure starting at 1.
Hub ID
The ID of this hub.
Status
The management status of this Ethernet port.
for
Indicates whether there is a known operational failure or problem in the hub.
Product ID
A string of ASCII characters representing the concentrators product
identifier.
Version
The firmware version for this hub.
