Monitor Ether Application
The Basic Ether Application supports the following additional sub-application
views:
• Cluster Diagnostics View
• Address Tracking Table View
• Port Performance View
• Port Diagnostics Table
These views are described in the following sections:
Cluster Diagnostics View
You can access the Cluster Diagnostics View by selecting Cluster Diagnost
from the Monitor Ether icon subviews menu. This view provides two tables:
the Cluster Hub Diagnostic Table and the Cluster Group Diagnostic View. The
fields for these tables are described below:
Cluster Hub Diagnostic Table
The Cluster Hub Diagnostic Table provides hub diagnostic statistics. The
fields for this table are described below.
Hub Id
The identifier for this Ungermann Bass Hub.
Tx Collisions
Counts the number of times any port in this group had a transmit collision.
Cluster Group Diagnostic Table
The Cluster Group Diagnostic Table provides collision statistics and includes
a Print button. The fields for this table are described below:
Group
The relative slot number in an enclosure starting with 1.
Collisions
Counts the number of times any port in this group had a transmit collision.
Simultaneous collisions on multiple ports are counted as only one group
collision.
