Ethernet Superv Application
Ethernet Bus Diagnostics
The next Ethernet Bus Diagnostics Bar Chart provides access buttons for
transmit, receive, CRC error, and collision information. Each button opens a
2-axis rate graph for the corresponding set of statistics.
Ethernet Superv Application
The Ethernet Superv Application provides one additional application-specific
view; the Supervisor View. The fields for this view are described below:
Supervisor View
You can access the Supervisor View by following these steps:
• Select Configuration from the UB_Ensup_App Icon
Subviews menu.
• Once the icon UB_Ensup_App icon is highlighted,
select Configuration from the View Icon Subviews
menu to open the Supervisor View.
The fields for this view are described below:
Static Net Config
The configured status of the interface between the net module(s) and the
backbone. Table 5-6 describes the static net configuration states.
Dynamic Net Status
The dynamically changed status of the interface between the net module(s)
and the backbone. States are notApplicable, netAndSupDirect, supPOnly, and
netOrSupLoopback.

Static Net Config States Description
netAndSupDirect Netcard+Supervisor Direct: Supervisor uses its Net
Interface, all other cards use Net Card.
supOnly All cards use Supervisor’s Net Interface.
netOnly All cards use Net Card.
supElseBridge All cards use ETHERNET BUS interface to .3 bridge;
if the bridge is down, then use the supervisor.
