For this command to take eect, the following signature bytes must be loaded:

Cylinder Low – 4Fh

Cylinder High – C2h

This commands checks the health of the device. If either the Spare Block Count or the Erase Count

attribute exceeded the factory preset threshold, signature values will be returned in the Cylinder

Low/High registers as follows:

Cylinder Low – F4h

Cylinder High – 2Ch

If the thresholds are not exceeded, the Cylinder Low/High registers retains the initially loaded 4Fh/

C2h values.

SMART Read Log

For this command to take eect, the following signature bytes must be loaded:

This command will return data of the SMART log. The following log addresses are dened:
