11. Flash Setup (TX/RX)
The V6 II transceiver commands ashes to
f ire at a particular power output via ash
prof iles. There are three ways to obtain
the correct ash prof iles:
1. Let the V6 II detect and apply the <AUTO>
ash prof ile (see Section 11.1).
2. Choose from the pre-installed ash
prof iles in the V6 II (see Section 11.2).
3. Customize the auto prof ile in the Cactus
Prof ile Editor on a PC or Mac (see
S e cti o n 1 1.3).
The V6 II is capable of auto detecting the
 a s h s y st e m of t h e att a c h e d  a s h . T he a u t o -
selected prof ile is camera system specif ic
and works with most of the digital TTL
 a s h e s of t h e s el e ct e d s y s t e m.
1. Attach your ash to the V6 II and turn on
t h e  a sh.
2. Switch on the V6 II to the RX mode (for
off-camera ashes) or TX mode (for on-
camera ashes).
3. The V6 II will detect the ash system of
