Tips:
1. The continuous light output of a normal
H S S a s h d o e s n o t f r e e ze a m ov i n g
o bj e ct a s a n o r m a l a s h d o e s. I n s t e a d,
it will cause motion blur, much like
a continuous light source would. In
order to freeze motion using a normal
H S S a s h, y o u n e e d t o u s e h i g h s h u tt e r
speeds.
2. Increasing the shutter speed in a
n o r m a l H S S a s h i m pl ie s t h at t h e
c o n tr i b u ti o n of t h e a s h d e c r ea se s
accordingly. When changing the shutter
s p e e d, y o u a l s o n e e d t o a d ju st t h e a s h
power level if you want to maintain the
s a m e c o n tr i b u ti o n of t h e a s h.
As an alternative to the normal HSS, the
Power Sync of the V6 II syncs with the full
power ash of the remote ashes. Power Sync
yields a much higher exposure than the
n o r m a l H S S a s h.
