Seats and Mirrors Select a heat setting for the seatback only • Press and release the vertical button (“2” left) until the indicator light shows the desired setting. HEATED FRONT SEATS 2 1 CLIMATE CONTROL SEATS — PLATINUM EDITION 1 2 1 2 1 This feature allows you to heat the front seatbacks and seat cushions simultaneously or just the seatbacks. Three heat settings are available. The controls are located on the driver and front passenger door panels.
E S C A L A D E / E S C A L A D E POWER LUMBAR FRONT SEATS Adjust lumbar support • Press the front or rear of the control located on the side of the seat cushion near the door (“1” below). Release at the preferred setting. Adjust side bolster support • Press the top or bottom of the lumbar control (“2” below). Release at the preferred setting.
• Tilt the seatback toward the front of the vehicle (the seat will release). • Pull (or push if exiting the third row with no assistance) the seat forward until it stops. Fold second-row bucket seats • Pull up on the strap loop located at the rear of the seat cushion and pull the seat cushion up and fold it forward. • Pull the seatback release lever upward and pull the seatback forward and fold it down until it is flat.

E S C A L A D E / E S C A L A D E E S V Entertainment/Convenience Features HEATED AND COOLED FRONT CUPHOLDERS (Platinum Edition only) The heated and cooled cupholders work best when maintaining the temperature of a beverage that is already hot or cold. For optimum performance and safety, the provided beverage holders are recommended.
SIX-DISC CD CHANGER Loading/Unloading 2 1 Quick Load • Press LOAD (“1” above) for two seconds. The lowest available number will flash. • Wait for amber lights (“2”above) to flash on sides of slot before inserting CD. The next available number will flash and accept another CD until all are occupied. • To exit Quick Load, press either a number with a CD in it or LOAD. Quick Unload • Press EJECT ( ) for two seconds; all CDs will eject from highest number to lowest.
E S C A L A D E / E S C A L A D E UNIVERSAL HOME REMOTE Program Universal Home Remote Your vehicle’s engine should be turned off while programming the remote. Follow these steps to program up to three channels: 1. Press and hold down the two outside buttons, releasing only when the indicator light begins to flash, after 20 seconds. Do not hold down the buttons for longer than 30 seconds and do not repeat this step to program a second and/or third transmitter to the remaining two remote buttons. 2.
CRUISE CONTROL Cruise control allows you to maintain a constant speed of 25 mph or more without keeping your foot on the accelerator pedal. The cruise control functions are on the Multifunction lever on the left side of the steering column. Setting Cruise Control 1. Move the cruise control switch to On ( ). 2. Attain the speed you want to cruise at. 3. Press in the Set button ( ) at the end of the multifunction lever. 4. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. 5.
E S C A L A D E / E S C A L A D E Drive and Security Systems STABILITRAK® – STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM StabiliTrak helps you maintain directional control during most driving conditions. In some driving situations, such as becoming stuck on slippery terrain and vehicle “rocking” is required, it may be necessary to limit StabiliTrak control. The StabiliTrak limit button decreases the amount of Traction Control engagement and disables the lateral and yaw sensors.
CONTENT THEFT-DETERRENT SYSTEM Arm the System • Lock the doors using the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter. The alarm is activated when the symbol ( ) goes off (approximately 30 seconds). Note: Your vehicle’s factory default alarm setting is Horn and Lamps. See the Vehicle Personalization section of this booklet for more information.

Press the Customization button ( ) located on the steering wheel. 2. Press the Select button ( ) to choose your desired setting. The first setting is the default setting from the factory. 3. Press to scroll through the following information: • LF TIRE shows the tire pressure of the left front tire. • RF TIRE shows the tire pressure for the right front tire. • LR TIRE shows the tire pressure for the left rear tire. • RR TIRE shows the tire pressure for the right rear tire. Timer The DIC can be used as a timer.
