Export Track Template
Export Track Template
The File > Export > Track Template and Save As Track Template commands open the Export
Track Preset dialog. You must first select a track before the command becomes available.
The Export Track Template dialog has the following fields:
Save In
Use this field to navigate to the folder where you want to store the track template.
File Name
Type a name in this field for the template you want to save (export).
Save as Type
The only option in this field is Track Template Files (.cwx).
Fade/Envelope dialog
The Process > Audio > Fade/Envelope command lets you specify accurately the shape of a fade
for a selection, clip, or track. This is a destructive edit—it permanent alters the data that you apply it
to. To apply a nondestructive volume change to selected data, see Drawing Envelopes on Clips.
The Process > Audio > Fade/Envelope command opens the Fade/Envelope dialog box, which
has the following fields:
Name. Use this field to choose the kind of fade you want to apply to the selected data, from the
following choices:
• Exponential Fade In
• Exponential Fade Out
• Inverse Exponential Fade In
• Inverse Exponential Fade Out
• Linear Fade In
• Linear Fade Out
Fade graph. This graph shows a visual representation of the type of fade you choose in the Name
field. The graph changes as you drag the line or curve in different directions.
Reset button. Click this button to restore the graph to the shape of the fade that’s listed in the
Name field.
