Media Browser enhancements
To audition an audio file
1. Click the Preview Bus arrow and choose the desired bus that you want to audition the audio file
through.
2. Browse to the folder that contains the file you want to audition.
3. Select the desired file. If you want to audition multiple files simultaneously, either in the same or in
different folders, hold down the CTRL or SHIFT key and select each file you want to audition.
4. Click the Play button .

To drag an audio file into a project
1. Drag the audio file from the Media Browser view to the Track view.
2. Drop the Wave file in the track and at the time in which you want it in your project.
A new audio track is created if:
• There are no audio tracks in the project.
• An audio track is not selected.
• You double-click a file in the Media Browser.
• You drop the file after the last track in the project.

Auditioning MIDI files
You can audition standard MIDI files, MIDI patterns, MIDI Groove Clips, Project5 patterns and step
sequencer patterns.
