The fire detection loops are divided into fire detection zones by short circuit isolators. If a short circuit occurs on a loop cable, the zone with the short circuit is disconnected from the rest of the loop by the SCI units mounted in the beginning and in the end of the zone. When a short circuit is detected, a yellow LED on the PCB is lit.
