3.1.2 5W Transmitter module
The Exciter’s front panel controls and indicators are:
Carrier Switch - momentarily keys the transmitter ON while
pressed (used for test purposes only).
On LED - is lit when transmitting
Line Sensitivity – not used.
Supply LED - is lit when DC power is applied. Fast Flashes
when linked with PGM800Win. Slow Flashes indicates VCO
(synthesizer) out of lock. Unequal Flashes indicates internal
communication error.
Microphone Socket – not used.

3.1.3 50W Transmitter module
There are no PA front panel controls and
indicators. The front panel only has the
grills for the input of the airflow used to
cool the heat sink, while it is not
mechanically attached to the PA module.
The rear side of the PA module yields
access to the screws that lock the module
onto the base station frame and the 4
connectors of the PA module as follows:
N-female – RF output connector.(supplies
10-50W RF power, for a fixed gain of 10dB
over the input power)
BNC female – RF input connector (1-5W
input power from the exciter)
Molex power socket – two-wired socket for
the main PA power lines (12.3V/25A)
