1. General Information Introduction The CalDigit Thunderbolt™ Station allows Thunderbolt™ enabled Mac users to add a variety of peripheral devices to their computers using a single Thunderbolt™ cable. This interface expansion device includes three USB 3.0 ports, audio in and out jacks, an HDMI out port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

2. Using the Thunderbolt™ Station Powering the Thunderbolt™ Station 1. The CalDigit Thunderbolt™ Station requires power from the AC adapter to operate. Connect the AC adapter connector to the DC jack on the back of the Thunderbolt™ Station and the other side to an AC outlet. 2. To power off the Thunderbolt™ Station, disconnect the power cable from the AC outlet.
Connecting the Thunderbolt™ Station to your computer Once the Thunderbolt™ Station has been powered, connect the device using a Thunderbolt™ cable (not included) from one of the Thunderbolt™ ports on the Thunderbolt™ Station to the Thunderbolt™ port on your Mac computer. The dual Thunderbolt™ ports on the Thunderbolt™ Station enable effortless daisy chaining. NOTE It is highly recommended that 2nd generation Thunderbolt™ cables are used for stability and performance.
Interface Summary The CalDigit Thunderbolt™ Station is a hot swappable device, which allows you to disconnect and reconnect the device without having to restart your computer. The interfaces on the Thunderbolt™ Station are hot pluggable, which means that peripheral devices can be disconnected and reconnect without restarting your computer. When the Thunderbolt™ Station is disconnected; the computer will default to its original settings.
Gigabit Ethernet The Thunderbolt™ Station has a single Gigabit Ethernet port to connect to a Gigabit Ethernet network. Your computer will connect to whichever network that is connected to the Thunderbolt™ Station by default. These settings can be changed in the “Network” section under “System Preferences”. The Ethernet port also supports wake-on-LAN which allows your computer to wake from standby remotely via the network. HDMI The Thunderbolt™ Station has a single HDMI port to connect a HDMI display.
