For use on laminate or wood oating oor systems.
LAMINATE: Trim tip opening to 1/16” • WOOD: Trim tip
opening to 1/8”
1. Follow your ooring manufacturer’s instructions for
adhesive application.
2. Squeeze a continuous bead of glue onto the top side of
the tongue. Glue must be applied to entire length of seam.
3. For added strength, squeeze a continuous bead of glue
onto the bottom of the groove. This will reduce the chance
of gapping over the life of the oor. DO NOT ll in groove as
this may result in gapping during installation.
4. Assemble planks before glue skins over. For maximum
moisture protection, make sure glue squeezes out of the
joint continuously along the length of all seams.
5. Allow 10-15 minutes for excess glue to set up.
6. Using a plastic putty knife, remove excess glue and wipe
seam with a lightly damp cloth. Keep cloth clean to avoid
smearing glue.
7. Allow to dry for 24 hours before walking on oor. Allow
2-3 days before installing heavy furniture or appliances.
8. Clean Up after 24 hours: For removing installation glue
drips and smears that have dried or cured, use our FilmFree
Advanced Cleaning Formula & Adhesive Remover.
