Drop cable tester
The drop cable tester is an optional item for testing the resistances between the RJ45 pins of
the drop cable (Figure 25). Order it by completing the order form on the support website (see
Contacting Cambium Networks on page 1).

Indoor Cat5e cable
To connect the PSU to network terminating equipment, use indoor Cat5e cable. The ODU
network connection implements automatic MDI/MDI-X sensing and pair swapping, allowing
connection to networking equipment that requires cross-over cables (MDI-X networks) or
straight-through cables (MDI Networks).
