Synchronous Ethernet
PTP 700 provides a Synchronous Ethernet function. When enabled, the frequency and phase of
the Ethernet clock is transferred to the other end of the radio link, enabling operation as part of
an ITU-T G.781 Synchronous Digital Hierarchy.
Synchronisation Status Messages (SSM) are processed and transmitted as specified by ITU-T
G.8264 and in Section 5 of G.781.
