Tighten the cable ties with pliers.
Cut the surplus from the cable ties.

Cut a 38mm (1.5 inches) section of self
-amalgamating tape and wrap it completely around the
joint between
the drop and ground cables.

Use the remainder of the self
-amalgamating tape to wrap the complete assembly. Press the
tape edges together so that there are no gaps.
