On your own time:
Get footage if you need to prove you’re not at fault.
When you’re driving on your own time, the
DriveScape device will only send video to your
phone if you press the Bookmark Button, if there is
a hard-braking event, or if you’re in an accident.
On your personal time, you have control of both
road-facing and cabin-facing recording.
If you record video on your own time:
• You can see all of your personal-time
videos in the DriveScape app.
• Uber cannot access videos from your personal time.
Tip! We recommend keeping video recording
on so you have footage in case of an incident.
