FIRE PROTECTION
Make sure your safe has a re rating
that will help protect contents from
a blaze. Most vault-type safes are good
for varying amounts of exposure to
high temperatures.
Verify the thickness of the steel used
and the number and thickness of the
re-resistant gypsum boards (5/8-inch
is better than ½-inch with spacers).
Home res will cook your safe and
destroy the contents unless it has both
sucient insulation and re ratings.
WHEN A FIRE OCCURS THERE IS NO TIME TO GO LOOKING FOR
YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS. BY USING A FIREPROOF SAFE, YOU CAN
CONCENTRATE ON GETTING YOUR LOVED ONES OUT OF YOUR
HOME SAFELY AND KNOW IN THE BACK OF YOUR MIND THAT
YOUR POSSESSIONS ARE PROTECTED.
