Using the Eyepiece Cover
During self-timer or remote control operation when your eye does not
cover the viewfinder eyepiece, stray light may enter the eyepiece and
throw off the exposure.
To
prevent this, use the eyepiece cover
(attached to the neck strap) to cover the eyepiece.
Remove the eyecup.
From the bottom of the eyecup, push
it
upward to remove.
Attaching the Eyepiece Cover
Slide the eyepiece cover down into
the eyepiece groove to attach
it.
Silencing the Beeper
You
can disable the beeper so
it
does not sound
in
any shooting mode.
Select [Beep].
Select the
[01]
tab.
Press the
<
~T
> key to select
[Beep], then press
<8>.
Select [Off].
Press the <
~T
> key to select [Off],
then press
<8>.
