Using an Optional Speedlite Flash
Using an optional EX-series Speedlite for EOS cameras (270EX II, 320EX, 430EX II, 580EX II, 600EX-RT), you
can enjoy flash photography with this camcorder. If you use the optional 320EX Speedlite, you can use its LED
light (video light) when recording clips.
For details about using a Speedlite, refer to its instruction manual.
Attaching the Speedlite
Configuring an Attached Flash
Depending on the Speedlite used, the following flash settings may be
available: flash mode, flash exposure compensation, flash output level,
high-speed sync. You can also reset the flash settings.
1 Press the MENU button.
2 Open the [Flash] submenu.
[{ Camera Setup] > [2] > [Flash]

3 Touch [Flash Mode].
4 Select [k Automatic] or [n Manual] and then touch [K] to configure other flash settings or [X] to
close the menu.
