The LCD monitor can display the shooting settings screen, menu
screen, captured images, etc.
When you turn on the power, the
shooting settings will be displayed.
When you press the shutter button
halfway, the display will turn off.
And when you let go of the shutter
button, the display will turn on.
You can also turn off the display by
pressing the <
T
> button. Press the
button again to turn on the display.
By pressing the <B> button, you
can toggle the LCD monitor display
between the shooting settings (p.28)
and the camera settings (p.266).

Shooting Settings
Appears when you press the
<M> button. Press the
button again to return to the
shooting settings screen.
Appears when you press the
<x> button. Press the button
again to return to the shooting
settings screen.
Menu Functions Captured Image
You can set [52: LCD off/on btn] so that the LCD monitor does not turn
off and on (p.270).
Even when the menu screen or captured image is displayed, pressing
the shutter button will enable you to shoot immediately.
