If paper jams, remove it following the appropriate procedure as shown below.
• If you can see the jammed paper at the paper output slot, the rear tray, or the manual feed tray:

• If the paper tears and you cannot remove it from the paper output slot, from the rear tray, or from the
manual feed tray:
