High image quality, high speed, long lasting-this is what Canon means by Photo
lab Quality. What makes Photo lab Quality possible is the FINE high-density
multi-nozzle print head. The FINE print head, which was developed by using
photolithography in all its manufacturing processes, provides ink droplets as
small as one picoliter and resolution as high as 9600* x 2400 dpi, for photo prints
with
rich gradation and almost no perceivable graininess. It is also capable of
printing a 4" x 6" borderless photo in approximately 21 seconds in the default
setting**. Additionally, Chromalife100
system with genuine Canon dye ink and
genuine Canon photo paper ensures long lasting beauty for photos. Photos
printed with this system retain their beauty for 100 years when stored in an album,
30 years when placed in a picture frame, and 10 years when displayed indoors
exposed to the air***.

Camera Direct works with a simple cable connection. Photos taken with EOS
DIGITAL cameras can be printed out from PIXMA with ease-without the use of
a computer. PIXMA also comes with ample image editing functions like Red Eye
Correction and Face Brightener. In addition, 35-up Contact Print offers higher
resolution
than normal index printouts, and Print with shooting information prints
out the EXIF data, which is recorded when the photo is taken, along with the
actual photo. These functions are also available in card direct printing.

Easy-PhotoPrint and Easy-PhotoPrint Pro
Software is included that makes it possible to use
simple operations to print while seamlessly
linking to Digital Photo Professional, RAW image
development software for EOS DIGITAL. Photos
can be printed out in the RAW image format, and
an array of other functions enables automatic
recognition for

image corrections and more .
Variety of Media
The lineup is compatible with a whole range of
media, including super-glossy Photo Paper Pro,
matte paper, and specially textured Fine Art
paper particularly suited to artistic expression,
as well as a variety of paper sizes, from credit
card size to 13" x 19". It also handles photo paper
sizes like 8" x 10", helping to expand the horizon
of photographic expression.
