Chapter 5 Administrator Settings
2. User Administration
In “User Administration”, you can register and manage the users of the ScanFront and restrict the functions available to users.
a User List
Check box: Select this check box to select a user. If the
check boxes of multiple users are selected, you can set
function restrictions or perform the delete operation for
all selected users simultaneously.
Name: Displays the names of registered users.
<Default User> is the default setting when registering a
new user.
Address [Edit] Button: Register and edit entries in My
Address Book provided for each user. For details on the
address book settings, see “Address Book Settings” on
p. 114.
Job [Edit] Button: Register and edit My Job Button
provided for each user. For details on the job button
settings, see “Job Button Settings” on p. 118.
b Jump Keys
If there are many users and the user you want to display is
not displayed in the user list, you can use these keys to
specify a keyword to search for and display the user.
Hint
When performing a search with the jump keys, search for the
user’s name.
c [Select / unselect all] Button
Select all users or clear all selected users.
d [Edit] Button
Register new users and edit users.
